New bow

So I dont have alot of money and I wanted some input on some bows I should try out. I was looking at this bow http://www.martinarchery.com/2011/silencer.php what do you pros know and think about it?

I'm no pro, but I think Martin has a good quality line of bows especially when you consider the price difference.  and it's a Walla Walla company.

I have a 2010 Moab, 2008 firecat and my Mother-in-laws re-curve circa early 1960s

I'm a huge Martin fan. One tip though if you get it, watch out for the trg. Many people have had problems  with string wear, Martin will replace it with a cable and slide. They sent me the rod/slide plus a new string set. I just bought the 2011 exile for 379 shipped to my door. And it only took two days from date of order.

Parker's are good and affordable.  Might also look at the quest g5 smoke

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go for the silencer. Whats the advantage to having duel cams? Do you like singal cams?

The main thing I notice is the smoother draw and the let off is incredible.  Once the let off kicks in you can hold it forever.  I had a single cam Parker before and the difference is night and day.  I would shoot both and see what Feels good.  There were a bunch of bows that I really liked the look of but they didn't feel good in hand

There is some great bows out for a reasonable price. I would try to go to a few local shops and shoot some bows and see what fits you best.

Go to any pro shop and try a few out... for that price you can get a fully setup Bowtech Assasin.  Wilderness Archery in Bow, Wa can get you all setup.

Problem with buying online is no proshop to set it up correctly for you.  You might save a couple of bucks, but in the long run it isn't worth it.  Go to a archery shop and have them fit the bow to you.

The reason why I'm thinking about buying it from huntersfriend is the package I can get with it. I will take it to an archery shop to have them set it up for me.

if you get it from huntersfriends.com it's a good deal.  i got mine from there last year.  but you def need to take it in to a shop and have them help you get it set up for you.  they say it's rough sighted in at 20yrds...i found out otherwise.  good price, seemed to be a good deal..but go get it set up for you...just my

Good point. I just might spend a little more just to keep'em in business. I would either go to Sportsman's Warehouse in Federal Way or Great Northwest Archery (Doug) hes helped me before.
